Yorkville Sound YXL10SP Overview
Offering an excellent balance of power, performance, and value for live venues and commercial spaces, the YXL10SP Powered Subwoofer from Yorkville Sound sports a 10" woofer, a 2.4" voice coil, and a potent 500W program Class-D amplifier, making it extremely loud for its size. The recessed control panel is stealthy but easy to access, and provides an activity LED and control over main output levels, as well as selection between three performance modes (Punch, Smooth, and Deep) that tweak the EQ and tone.
The TXL10SP features advanced DSP processing with component protection functions and a durable 12mm plywood enclosure with a steel grille for reliable, long-term use. This subwoofer utilizes two XLR-1/4" combo inputs for a single stereo pair and also includes two XLR 3-pin male outputs for use a speaker link.
- Punch Mode: This mode will process the sound, so it has a punchier tone, giving less power to the deep bass more into the upper bass frequencies
- Smooth Mode: This will keep the original signal character with no preference for deep or upper bass
- Deep Mode: With this mode, the signal will be processed to provide more deep/low frequencies, while the keeping the upper bass frequencies in a similar place as Smooth Mode
