Yongnuo YN508 Overview
The YN508 2-in-1 Video Ring Light from Yongnuo has a 16.5" diameter and a distinctive shape with variable color temperature range from 3200 to 5500K. It can be mounted to a grip head or to a stand and has a smartphone holder so you can shoot through the center for a silky smooth, near-shadowless effect that is flattering to your talent's complexion. You can mount a DSLR directly to the fixture or take it apart to transform it into two lights for traditional use. Any way you use it you'll appreciate the unique circular catchlights reflected in the eyes of your subject. The fixture can be powered using a separately available AC adapter or by two optional NP-F750 series batteries. It is controlled wirelessly using a smartphone app or a proprietary 2.4 GHz signal.
