Add accessory mounting and protection for your Sony a7S III mirrorless camera with this lightweight Blade Full Camera Cage from YC Onion. This jet-black camera cage features a red top trim, and the camera mounts onto the cage with an integrated 1/4"-20 screw. It maintains access to the camera's controls and ports and features a variety of mounting options.
Two integrated shoe mounts on top and multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 accessory threads around the entire cage allow mounting accessories, a baseplate, or a tripod quick release plate. Threads on the front allow for an optional lens support. A multifunction tool is included to secure various screws around the camera cage.

quality of the cage

the cage is not, however cold shoe mount doesn't have stoppers, meaning if you attach anything to it it will slip away, in my case, my led light fell off from cold shoe mount, b/c of design , i had to customize mine, look at the picture, middle one and the right side one(red color shoe mount don't have no stoppers at all, soon or later anything attached on it will get loose and will fall

After purchasing from this expensive YC Onion Blade Full Camera Cage for Sony a7S III, next day I took it to the test, had a job, Everything was OK, except....cold shoe mount doesn't have stopper, after installing my LituFoto L28 Portable Bi-Color LED Video Light, it got loose after an hour and it fell from my tripod and broke my light completely, had to modify cold shoe adapter , unfortunately LituFoto L28 Portable Bi-Color LED Video Light is gone, battery port broken, however, now after drilling hole and installing small screw, it doing what engineers should've do in the beginning - installing stoppers. So much for nothing.
