Enjoy your music wirelessly with the black Yamaha MusicCast 20 Wireless Speaker. It features Bluetooth, Apple AirPlay, and Wi-Fi technologies to connect to nearly any wireless component in your home. The speaker also has an Ethernet port for wired network connectivity. It has a 1" tweeter and a 3.5" woofer on the front and a passive radiator on the left and right sides to help create an immersive soundstage.
The MusicCast 20 can be controlled wirelessly with the MusicCast app, which is available for compatible Android and iOS devices. You can also pair two MusicCast 20 speakers together for stereo sound, or with other MusicCast-compatible components for music streaming throughout the house or for wireless surround sound. The speaker is wall mountable with a rear 1/4"-20 thread.

A bit tricky to set up but nice sound
Setting each up, creating stereo set and a room with phone app is not that easy and the manual is sparse. Figuring out the On/Off touch and which service to use (Pandora would stop and device powered off - losing one speaker) was the hard part. I just mute it when not in use. Keeping the great sound from being lowered was the easy part. Next I'll pair them to my new Yamaha YHT-5950US 5.1...
Bluetooth Speaker
This is a excellent speaker. It was very easy to sync with my system and has very good sound quality.
Amazing!
These are amazing. They start up where Sonos and other comparable systems leave off. The ability to remotely connect them to Yamaha AV receivers using MusicCast is amazing, and it all works perfectly.
clicking and interference
I bought these to be wireless surround sound speakers with the Yamaha RX-V585. But i would get the occasional audio cut out, interference or clicking (static?). I dont know if I got a bad pair or if its just how these are, regardless I sent them back for a refund... super easy process which is why I always prefer to buy from .
great set up
Bought two for surround speakers since I really couldn't run wires across the room. Easy to set up, and there are tutorials on the Yamaha website too. Pairs nice with my Yamaha receiver, and the app makes it easy to setup and customize. And it's nice to know I can move one or both speakers to another room and play music either from my phone or receiver wirelessly. Great sound too!
Great speakers
The sound is excellent and at least if not better than Sonos. We returned the Sonos for these so we could use them in the same app as our Yamaha receiver. The app is easy to use and it's nice to have our home theatre Yamaha receiver be integrated with these speakers all in one app.
Solid performance, a bit pricey
I purchased a couple of these to expand my Yamaha RX-V4A receiver to 2 other rooms and am generally pleased with them. Setting them up using the MusiCast app was straightforward, and controlling them with the app (either directly or linked with the RX-V4A) is easy and intuitive. I have not had the connectivity issues others have reported. They are small and discrete, fitting nicely on a bookshelf or corner table, and put out plenty of sound for their size. I took off 1 star because the sound is good but not as good as I expected for the price. My Bose bookshelf speakers, which I consider comparably priced ($120 cheaper per pair but without wireless functionality), sound quite a bit better.
Very pleased
It was more difficult to set up than I anticipated, but once done these sound amazing and can easily be controlled with the MusicCast app. I�ve just bought a third one now. Nice to have music in every living space.
