The Xerox VersaLink B615/XL is an all-in-one black-and-white printer designed to be used with the optional Xerox Finisher, which allows stacking and stapling while also serving as a 500-sheet output tray.
The B615/XL offers print, copy, scan, and fax functions, and features Ethernet and USB connectivity while allowing an upgrade to Wi-Fi connectivity via an optional Wi-Fi Kit. It supports letter, legal, and other paper sizes, as well as envelopes and other media. Designed for teams of 12 to 20 users, the B615/XL supports up to 700 sheets in the included standard paper input tray, and it prints up to 65 pages per minute in up to 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution. A maximum of 3250 sheets are supported when you add all the optional paper trays/feeders supported by this printer.
As an "XL" model, this printer requires the optional Xerox Finisher (model # 097S04952) to be installed in order to function properly. Without it, the printer cannot be used properly. Printouts will not have a dedicated output tray and may fall to the floor. The B615/XL has an extra tall design with a dedicated space on top for installing the Finisher.
Designed as a smart, reliable, and secure office solution, the B615/XL has fewer moving parts, stronger paper path components, and a more advanced Hi-Q LED print head. Scan and fax preview ensure information accuracy, and built-in optical character recognition (OCR) helps you do more with scanned documents. Stringent security features, including secure print and card authentication, safeguard your critical data. IT-free installation wizards and step-by-step configuration options ensure you're set up and ready to go with ease.
A customizable, capacitive 7" color touchscreen lets you tap, swipe, and pinch your way through tasks and functions with mobile-like ease. Preloaded Xerox ConnectKey apps help optimize office efficiency, and on-screen access to the extensive Xerox App Gallery expands functionality with access to tools like Xerox Easy Translator Service. With Simple ID, individual users and groups enter a user ID and password once and then enjoy fast and secure access to task-specific presets and commonly used apps on a personalized home screen.

The speed of the scanner and copying is amazing
This product has served me well. I would have preferred to have a color printer as well. I can easily fix minor issues such as jams and connections.
Terrible Printer
Nothing positive to say about this printer at all. Nothing but problems with it since we received it last year.
It's only been up and running for a week
Xerox's claim that it's easy to install is a lie. First, one must be familiar with the IT terms/initials etc. We asked our IT people to help with this but they were unable to log into the copier. We had engaged CDW (the direct seller) to set it up, but after 1.5 weeks, the setup wasn't done. We had to have out copier repair service set it up with the IT service. This took them a few hours to set up. So far the copier is fine. At this point, I cannot recommend or not recommend the machine.
