When connected to a USB Type-C charger, this hub's USB Type-C port supports Power Delivery 3.0 and provides up to 100W for charging your host system and powering other connected devices. It's constructed with durable and lightweight aluminum, so it's travel-ready and compact enough to fit in your pocket.

- The host device must support DP alt mode to output HDMI video.

Power Delivery 3.0

That means you can plug a USB-C power adapter into the hub, and it will charge your computer's battery, even if you're using a power-hungry 16" MacBook Pro, while you continue to use of all the connected peripherals. PD 3.0 also gives you the advantage of running several peripherals without draining your host device's battery. So, don't stop what you're doing while you charge your device. The hub's PD 3.0 capability will let you maintain your workflow.
Role Swapping
The U6-1VPD-2 hub delivers power to your peripheral devices two different ways: with PD power or bus power, which is supplied directly from the host device's USB Type-C port. The hub's intelligent circuitry recognizes the power source and seamlessly switches from PD 3.0 to bus power without changing any settings or preferences.
SD and microSD Card Access
The dock features SD and microSD card readers so you can access huge files like photos, videos, or audio. You'll be able to access to your files whether they're stored on SD, SDHC, or SDXC cards up to 2TB, as well as microSD, microSDHC, and microSDXC card formats.
HDMI
When you get tired of squinting at a small screen just to see the fine details of your photos or video, use the HDMI port to output your screen to a larger monitor. The hub supports resolutions up to 4K @ 30 Hz. Use the two standard USB Type-A ports to attach USB 3.2 Gen 1 peripherals like hard drives to take advantage of the 5 Gb/s data transfer speeds when you're backing up files to an external device or editing photos and videos on your tablet. Both ports are backward compatible with USB 2.0 so you can add a keyboard, mouse, or printer to your workstation.
