Nicknamed the "100 MPH Windscreen", the black WindTech 74169 is a military-grade windscreen engineered for use in very-high-wind and rough weather conditions for applications such as police motorcycles, live sportscasting, and open cockpit in military aircrafts. It fits miniature headset microphones with 7/32" in diameter.
The 74169 is made from a specially developed, American-made, high-density, military-grade S80 SonicFoam designed to eliminate wind noise, pop noises, and breath sounds. The open-cell SonicFoam permits the free passage of sound energy without altering the microphone's frequency response�making it acoustically transparent.
The durable 74169 also helps to protect your mic from dust, dampness, and physical damage. It even features a proprietary, water-repellent/wicking treatment on the outside that meets military-requirement standards�including, the 100-hour float test and 24-hour / 4g maximum water-absorption test.
The hypo-allergenic, polyurethane SonicFoam does not contain formaldehyde or other dangerous chemicals and is in compliance with California Proposition 65. This pack contains five 74169 windscreens.
