Westcott Neutral Gray Overview
This Westcott X-Drop Fabric Backdrop measures 8 x 8' and is printed with a neutral gray tone to produce professional-looking images. It can be used for all types of photography, including portraits, headshots, products, video, and more.
The fabric backdrop is easy to use, machine washable, and reflection free. Made of soft, 100% polyester material, it can be easily folded for transport to your next shoot. Adding gels, adjusting the position, and changing the color temperature of your lighting can alter the appearance of a printed backdrop, allowing you to achieve multiple looks with one product. Excellent Kit
A little bit of trouble figuring it out but after watching the YouTube video it all made sense, Fabric is light but feels durable great addition to my portable set up. A little concerned about people standing in the fabric But haven't had the chance to try it. Only time will tell. I hope Westcott comes out with more selection on backdrops. They have the basics and a few Christmas themes would like to see more. Over all this is a excellent kit

Easy set-up, very portable, do portraits anywhere.
Wrinkles show
Unlike the white backdrop where the wrinkles disappear with a light source, the gray backdrop prominently shows them. While Westport lists the drop as wrinkle free from stretching, it's not actually the case.
Bought it for headshots
I read a few reviews on backdrops and lighting. I'm not a pro photographer, but I have used the gray background and some lighting tips from to do some headshots and ID badge pictures.
Great for headshots and portraits.
I picked this up for fun and have been using it with different lighting and filters. I am not a photographer, but I am playing around and having fun with what I have. I always wanted a portrait backdrop screen, and now I have one. Easy set up, and I love that I can simply wash the fabric when it gets dirty.
