Light your driveway, sidewalk, courtyard, or any open space using renewable solar energy with the 1600-Lumen Solar + LED Floodlight from Wagan Tech . Just like a streetlight, this 20" lamp turns on automatically at dusk and provides 100 lumens of standby light; if anyone passes within range, a motion detector boosts the output to 1600 lumens. The light drops back down to 100 lumens after 20 seconds with no motion detected. After five hours or when the battery is below 30 percent, the standby light shuts off after five minutes with no otion.
The floodlight is designed to be mounted on a wall or a user-supplied pole. No electrical wiring is required, just a few basic tools for mounting. It takes six hours of full sunlight for the solar panel to charge the lamp's internal 7.4V, 5.4Ah battery. That charge is enough to power the light for up to three nights. Naturally, the floodlight is designed to be weather resistant and carries an IP65 waterproof and dustproof rating. Its housing is light but durable polycarbonate and ABS plastic. Its light source is an array of 40 LEDs with a color temperature of 6000K for a bright white beam.
