Vivotek CM48I8-2040 Overview
The CaMate CM48I8-2040 IR Illuminator from Vivotek is equipped with a 24-LED array that emits IR illumination at a wavelength of 850nm. Continuous Variable Angle Technology enables the illuminator to adjust beam angles to deliver highly efficient intensity and uniform distribution of illumination for varying installation distances. This illuminator has an IR illumination range up to 656'. It delivers a 20 to 40° horizontal beam angle in an elliptical beam pattern.
This device is housed in an IP68- and IK10-rated enclosure that is suitable for outdoor use in areas at risk of vandalism. A bracket is included for installation.
Suitable for traffic LPR/ANPR, airport, parking lot, and other outdoor applications
Continuous Variable Angle (CVA) Technology enables the illuminator to adjust beam angles for different installation distances
Provides high uniformity without hot spots or overexposure
Day and night switching
IR on/off control
Auto IR on/off controlled by light sensor
Light sensor sensitivity and adjustable IR power can be accessed via CaMate remote/RS-485 control (available separately)
