Vivitar VIV-MIC Overview
The black straight viewing MIC-20 Monocular Microscope from Vivitar is a toy microscope with some advanced features that can be useful for anyone. With magnification of 300x, 450x, or 600x, it enables observers to study fine samples or microscopic biological structures. The revolving front-facing nose-piece allows you to switch between the objectives of different magnifying power. The mechanical style stage has two position controls for moving specimens in the horizontal plane. If your samples aren't bright enough with natural lighting, the microscope provides a built-in illuminator that is powered by two AA batteries. The microscope also features one inclination adjustment point near the base and a lightweight frame with a handle, which allows it to be easily carried by anyone. Also included are eight slides, tweezers, two vials, and slide covers.

Vivitar VIV-MIC Reviews

I bught this thinking it would be better than a toy microscope for my kid. I was not, now I am back to Brasil with a microscope that fells and works like something made with bad quality parts. It seem to be an 80's project that was worsened with bad plastic. It was very cheap but the attendant said it would be ok for a kid, I would prefer paying double that on the other option and have a working instrument.
