Viltrox EF-Z Overview
This Lens Mount Adapter from Viltrox is designed to allow a Canon EF or EF-S-mount lens to be used with a Nikon Z-mount camera with full electronic communication. The underside of this adapter's detachable tripod foot is tapped with a 1/4"-20 accessory thread, providing direct attachment to tripods or quick release plates that feature 1/4"-20 mounts. For ease of upgrading its firmware, this adapter also includes a micro-USB port.

No it just would not work on my nikon zfc
With help of tech support we determined in would not be recognized by my nikon zfc. They recommend I send it back. So I did and bought a flash for my camera.
Works as expected
I can auto focus and control the aperture of my canon and sigma lenses with this adapter. So far it works as expected
Works great for me.
I wanted this adapter for the MP-E 65mm and it works flawlessly. I have yet to test the auto focus capabilities of this adapter. It looks very well constructed and lens information is recorded properly.
Useless with Z6 II, Z7 II and Z9
The latest firmware for this adapter was released more than a year ago and it is not compatible with any of the newer models / firmware versions. Older camera firmware had some issues controlling the lens aperture but on the newer version the lenses are not even recognized.
Defective?
Have not been able to get adapter to work on my Z7, firmware 3.4
