Love this lens!
This is a great lens. The optics are outstanding and it creates great photos. I've used it for landscapes, city photography, portraits, and even some macro work on larger flowers. It's sharp wide open, but stopped down it's razor sharp edge to edge. Bokeh is limited by the focal length but is smooth when you set the lens up to create it. Distortion is just right and allows for creative control without looking weird. I have teenage daughters who always want their whole outfit in the photo along with context. This lens allows for that type of shot even in a crowd. They refer to this lens as my 0.5 because the field of view is similar to the 0.5 iPhone camera. I also plan on using it for some night sky photos but have been limited to my yard so far and the field of view is too wide for that. My only complaint is the lack of weather sealing. Especially in a landscape lens, weather sealing would be nice.
Quickly became my favorite wide angle on Fuji
I'm actually considering selling my XF 10-24 R WR since shooting with this Viltrox the last few months. Unless I really need 10mm, I always opt for the Viltrox due to better image quality and f1.4 Excellent build quality, fast AF, f1.4 and excellent optics at a very reasonable price. Only thing I could possible find fault with is it's kinda hefty for an APS-C prime. But well wort it!
Very good lens for Nikon Z DX
A very good lens for Nikon Z DX cameras, Z50, Z fc, & Z30. The price is a bargain, the lens build quality is high, the images are excellent. This has pride of place on my Z fc as my fun and personal camera. Very handy when shooting indoors for events, as a lot of people can be in the image, as wide as it is, and the f/1.4 aperture works well with interior lighting. It also is quite handy for small town evening events. The images produced are brighter than my eyes, and I can shoot with available light well into the evening. This lens completes the set from Viltrox for the Nikon Z DX APS-C cameras, all f/1.4: 13mm, 23mm, 33mm and 56mm. I couldn't be happier with the Viltrox line. I'm waiting to see what else they will produce for my Nikon Z DX camera clan. I write for

So far so good! Used it for the auroras and it was perfect. Very bright and sharp lens. A little heavier than I'd hoped but outstanding quality
Excellent wide angle lens!
Perfect companion to 23mm F1.4 WR and 50mm F1.0 for weddings! Sharp, fast and reliable AF, solid, cheap, what else do you want? :-)
Just what I needed
We travel and one of the things I sometimes like to shoot is architecture and interiors using available light. The outside shots are easy but it can get pretty dim inside a village church. I was considering the Nikkor Z 20mm f1.8 but decided that this would work as well for occasional use. I don't have a village church to hand but thought my local library would be a decent standin.
Great Image Quality
This is a great lens, especially when you factor in the price. The image quality if fantastic. The lens comes with a mental lens hood, Fujifilm should take note from Viltrox.
