Video Mount Products AK-1PT Overview
The Video Mount Products AK-1PT Adapter Kit adapts several of VMP's ceiling mounts so that the ceiling drop can be achieved with standard 1.5" NPT pipe. This allows for longer ceiling drops (in excess of 60") for a projector or flat-panel display. For cable management, the AK-1PT includes a cable pass-through in the center of the masting so the cable can be run through the NPT pipe.
The AK-1PT is intended for use with VMP's VMP014/024, VMP036/038, PM Series, LCD-MID-C and LCD-2537C ceiling mounts. Use the VMP CP-1 Ceiling Plate (not included) to attach the pipe to the ceiling.
