Vanguard VEO3+263CPS Overview
The versatile VEO3+263CPS Carbon Fiber Tripod Kit with PH-38S 3-Way Pan Head from Vanguard features an innovative Multi-Angle Central Column (MACC) system that allows the center column to move at angles from 0 to 180° in variable vertical and horizontal positions, beyond the range of conventional lateral center columns. The included column ballast hook helps keep the tripod stable even at full extension, and the VEO+MA1 multi-mount adapter provides an additional 1/4"-20 mount for an additional camera, monitor, microphone, light, or other accessory. The center column may also be removed and combined with one leg to form a full-featured monopod for situations where a tripod is inconvenient. The Carbon Fiber legs independently open to three positions to level the tripod on uneven terrain and to spread fully for floor-level positioning. Additionally, the legs feature removable rubber feet, and a set of steel spike feet is included for use in icy conditions.
The included VEO PH-38S 3-Way Pan Head from Vanguard offers precise movement on three individual axes for controlled camera positioning. It has two pan handles that have adjustable length for fine control that make it easy to position the camera through the head's -60 to 90° tilt range and -30 to 90° lateral tilt range. In addition, the base has 360° of rotation and features a numbered scale and independent pan lock knob. The camera platform rotates independently in 90° increments and has a quick-locking lever to keep it in place. It includes an Arca-type QU-74 quick release plate with a square design that can be easily repositioned for quickly repositioning the mounted camera.
