Precision-cut foam lines the inside of the case, securely holding your ThunderBay 4 RAID array while also preventing static charges from affecting your equipment. Dedicated cable cut-outs keep your cables and other materials organized and together. Double movement latches and stainless-steel hardware prevent accidental opening and attributes itself to the case's MIL-STD-810F IP67 dustproof and waterproof design. You can equip the case with optional locking mechanisms with double padlock loops, keeping unauthorized users from accessing your storage drives. A crushproof design, ATA impact certified, and ASTM testing ensures optimal safety measures against drops, vibrations, environmental rainfall, impacts, and more. An ergonomic handle, integrated wheels, and telescoping handle make it easy to travel through busy security checkpoints and hubs.
Impact Resistance Test; samples were exposed to impact using a bar weighing 13.2 lb with a hemispherical end of 1.25". Bar was dropped with its longitudinal axis vertical on to each sample's weakest point from a height of 19.6". Samples were conditioned to a temperature of -4°F before impact exposure.
