Tripp Lite B127A-111-BDTD Overview
The DisplayPort over Cat 6 Extender Kit with Transmitter and Receiver with Repeater from Tripp Lite includes a transmitter and a transceiver designed to extend a computer DisplayPort 1.2a signal up to 4K30 up to 230' away via cat 6 cable. The receiver features repeater functionality that allows the signal to be repeated up to four times for up to 920' transmission distance.
Display on Remote Monitors
The set connects a DisplayPort monitor, projector, or television to the DisplayPort 1.4 output on your laptop or desktop computer for digital signage, video walls, or audio/video presentation that requires a high-resolution display. There is also a local HDMI output on the transmitter to monitor the output at the source end. An optical audio output on the receiver end allows you to output to a speaker system.
Daisy Chaining
This extender kit is capable of forming daisy-chain installations from the transmitter by connecting additional B127A-110-BD transceivers (available separately). Up to four total transceivers can be chained together to extend the transmission up to 920'. Each receiver is capable of extending a 4K30 signal up to 230' per unit.
Transmit up to 4K Video
The unit supports transmission resolutions up to 3840 x 2160p30 with 7.1-channel surround sound via the transceiver's TOSLINK audio output.
HDR 4:4:4 Support
The system supports HDR (High Dynamic Range), transmitting a wide range of vibrant colors with rich contrast, bright whites, and deep blacks that pop on your 4K display. HDCP 2.2 encryption allows you to stream restricted 4K content with no complications, and 4:4:4 chroma subsampling supports high frame-rate gaming or using an HDTV as a computer monitor.
Power over Cable
Power over Cable (PoC) technology powers the remote receiver over cat 6 cable to save cabling and power outlet requirements. One power adapter is included to power the transmitter unit. Four international plug adapters (North America, Europe, U.K., Australia) are also included.
Plug-and-Play Design
Connect your source device to the transmitter with a user-supplied DisplayPort cable up to 15' long, and no software or drivers are needed. The rugged metal enclosure includes detachable brackets for mounting on a level surface or a small rack.
