The Optics 9-Stop Variable ND Gaffer Glass from Trigyn is an optical tool that allows a cinematographer or gaffer to accurately visualize lighting effects on set. A simple rotation of the front ring changes the ND effect from 0.3 to 2.7 total of 9 stops. This makes it a handy viewing tool for lighting effects on sets. You can add separate effect filters using the 49mm threaded front ring and preview the final look that will be seen on camera.
