The BC-501 is often referred to as "The Magic Glue" as its transparent compression strengthens mixes without compromising clarity.
The BC501-GR offers some notable features such as the built-in blend control for parallel compression techniques as well as a switchable HPF (80, 150, 220 Hz) for sidechaining. A 3.5mm external sidechain input allows other signals, such as a kick drum, to trigger the compressor. A THD circuit provides even-ordered harmonics for warm saturation and a bigger-than-life sound. All controls are stepped for fast and easy recall.
