The grip is hand-carved from black walnut wood for an attractive, comfortable, and temperature-stable handgrip that is mounted on an aluminum alloy frame, providing support and strength for mounting accessories. Ideal with Tilta Cage
I've seen reviews deriding this thing for not fitting properly on the rail, but my personal experience using this on a Tilta cage is that it fits perfectly and locks tight with a heavy rig.
Screws quickly strip and handle becomes unstable
I'd love to say something positive as I love Tilta and the handle feels and looks quite nice, but as the headline states, it is a terrible investment. After only a couple of months of very light wear, the screws that hold the handle in place WILL strip and cannot be tightened. The result is a wobbly/unusable handle. It will slide on and remain secure, but it will also be loose/wobbly and potentially compromise your footage. You will be forced to replace or spend time and money with a repair request to Tilta
Hot Garbage!
Do not buy these. They are a complete waste of money. The junky little screws that hold the nato rail onto the handle strip after regular use. I bought 2, 1 left and 1 right. The left one stripped after about 5 weeks of use, so bad that the nato attachment just flaps around like a baby's rattle. I emailed Tilta and they offered a warranty repair. Having a job in a few days, I ordered a replacement, figuring that I would just get the warranty repair once the job wrapped and have a spare left handle. But the replacement fell apart in exactly the same way after only 2-4 days of use on set. Then a couple days later the right one started doing the same thing. I contacted Tilta and they told me to contact to get my money back. Only problem is 2 of these handles are outside of the 30 day return policy (2 months out for one and 1 month out for the other due to backorders), which means will only let me return 1 of 3. So now I have 2 completely useless handles at home. And Tilta won't even offer the warranty repair anymore. Save yourself the trouble, don't buy this junk.
Defective attachment
I cannot test this product because the attaching element is defective. It is of no use to me. Very disappointed. I have ordered another attaching element but it is back ordered. Also, there is no refund on the attaching element.

hands down. though the nato clamp bolts on a little loose, but not so much that it is a problem.
Great craftsmanship
I purchased the handle to use with the 8sinn BGH1 cage. I must say I'm very pleased by the quality of this product. Unfortunately the handle does not clamp directly to the 8sinn cage. Luckily I had a spare nano rail to mount it.
Great grip
The grip is great and easy to use! Might be a tad big if you have small hands but that's nitpicking. Only drawback that I ran into is mounting it to the left side of the camera makes the fold out screen of the a7s3 kinda useless, so if you plan on using the built in screen I would find a different option
Comfortable and well designed
Despite the lack of good info on the site or the Tilta site for choosing the proper model for attachment to a cage, this was a good buy. A phone call to solved the attachment adapter requirement for a modest $18.
