Filmmakers can use the 80mm Tilta Cinema Adapter Ring to secure a lens with an 80mm outer diameter to the Tilta Mirage matte box. The 95mm outer diameter of the adapter ring fits snugly and securely into the Mirage matte box.
This aluminum alloy adapter is both lightweight and sturdy, blocking light from seeping in behind your matte box. A thumbscrew on the back of the matte box clamps the adapter in place.

This is a great accessory and works perfectly. I have 3 lenses with an 80mm diameter. Rather than change it out for each lens, which can be a pain, I just spent $38 and bought two extra ; ) Does what it says it does.

This is a great accessory and works perfectly. I have 3 lenses with an 80mm diameter. Rather than change it out for each lens, which can be a pain, I just spent $38 and bought two extra ; ) Does what it says it does.
Disapointment
Unlike most clamp on rings, you have to tighten a bolt on the ring everytime you put it on a lens. So if you buy one of these for your set of 80mm lenses, you are gonna be using the included allen wrench to switch it from lens to lens, which is terribly slow and frankly just annoying. looking for other options now.
