Thor RF-PETIT Overview
This PETIT HDMI RF Modulator from Thor enables the conversion and transmission of video signals from HDMI sources such as a camera, DVD, receiver, or computer device to RF television broadcast signals. The unit's +24 dBmv RF output is powerful enough to transmit a signal for an HDTV broadcast to hundreds of TVs and supports QAM, ATSC, DVB-T, and ISDB-T CATV formats.
The unit supports video signals up to 1920 x 1080p at up to 19.5 Mb/s, MPEG2 video encoding, and AC3 audio encoding. Management is made easy with the built-in network management system (NMS) which is accessed via the PETIT's 10/100 Ethernet LAN port. The NMS allows you to control the bit rate, channel selection, and resolution and to monitor your broadcast. It supports 57 to 1000 MHz RF signals and channels 2 to 135. Its compact form allows it to be located anywhere in your broadcast setup, and the unit can be wall mounted. A 12 VDC power adapter is included to get the modulator quickly powered up and running.
