Thor 8QAM-IP Overview
If you need to decode over-the-air or cable QAM signals to integrate them into your IP streaming workflow, the 8 x QAM Cable Tuners to IPTV Gateway System from Thor is a single box that can convert DVB-C QAM Annex A or B signals to IPTV signals into a TS, SPS, multicast, or unicast output stream. This rackmount unit features eight QAM inputs that support various source signals such as antenna, satellite dish, or cable TV for broadcast facilities.
The unit features very low latency and two RJ45 Ethernet outputs for either IP TS or SPTS mode with converted subchannels or MPTS mode with a single stream. There are also eight QAM loop outputs on the back of the unit. A dedicated management Ethernet port allows you to configure and manage the unit.
