With this orange, 15 ft long Tether Tools TetherPro USB Type-C Male to USB Type-C Male Cable, you can connect a camera, smartphone, or other USB Type-C device to a computer, for the purposes of transferring data. This cable supports USB 3.0 for data transfer rates of up to 5 Gb/s. This cable also features a right angle connector, which is designed to help alleviate stress on the cable connector.
If you connect a camera to a laptop and your camera is compatible with tethering, you can use this cable to help increase productivity during photo shoots. Rather than proof images on your camera's small LCD, they are sent directly to a notebook's larger, hi-res display. Seeing images in this way helps to review them for slight imperfections that you may have otherwise missed.

nothing to complain about
Tether Tools Is The Gold Standard
TT's cables have always been the gold standard. So I bought a new cable from them for a new camera with zero research elsewhere. These updates to the existing line mean the cables are now much heavier which I assume will provide some technical advantages for durability and reliability. A bit of a picky point is that now my road kit is a little bit bulkier because yes the cables are that much bulkier than my old ones. No complaints here.
Use for tethering with a MacBook and R5
Works perfectly for tethering into Lightroom. Images appear quickly, and the cable is sturdy.

It's a USB Cable, and it works.
Too stiff
The cable is just too stiff to use without a cable clamp directly at the port- something I can't do with my current configuration. I put a loop in the cable and clamp it elsewhere on a cage, but it twists in the camera port and loses connection if you bump it at all. I used another version of this cable for years with my Canon 5DIV. It was very reliable. When I got this USB-C version to match my R5, the first one was bad out of the box. The second one became unreliable after three days of shooting.
Thethering is bae!`
I love this cable, it is reliable, never fails when I am shooting Thethered. With this, I am able to use my Camera and connect it straight to my Macbook so that I can view my photos instantly in a bigger screen.

Well made and the color orange is a nice safety touch. Other than that it's a cable and it cables very well, especially the cabling part.
