Telmax Pro-IP Overview
The Telmax PRO-IP-EX Universal Tablet & Smartphone Teleprompter features an adjustable universal cradle that supports all tablets and smartphones up to 11.5". For iPads and iPhones, an iOS teleprompting app from Telmax is available as a free download. For Android devices, you can use one of many apps available on Google Play.
The PRO-IP-EX features a durable metal frame, and supports a tripod on the bottom at any point along the full length of the frame, allowing you to find the best position for the weight of your camera. Most camera sizes are supported.
The beamsplitter glass has a trapezoidal design to allow better viewing of scrolling text from an angle. The glass measures 8 x 12" and has a 70/30 transmission/reflection ratio. The back of the glass housing has a 4" circular cutout that supports most lenses.

This product works great. As with any product there is room for improvement but hey out of the box to set up and using took about 15 min. Most of that time was getting the OncuePrompter app set up. I would recommend that you have a heavy duty tripod that can accommodate the extra weight. I used it on three camera types already and it worked well with each of them. Quality Product
Have used this once for a corporate training video. Works good and good quality for price. Using this with a 10.5 Ipad and the PromptSmart app from Apple App. store. All is good, but did get some ghosting in the shot. I was able to eliminate it in post. This occurred with black background and white text. I will play around with screen brightness, etc. on next shoot to see if I can eliminate all together?

Amazing prompter for NFL Team Needs!!
We bought this product for a number of necessary needs for an NFL production team. We have a studio prompter but we needed something that was portable and easy to set-up on the fly with different cameras and tripods. With essentially zero previous experience I was able to set it up and use it with no problems. The adjustable frame gives us the ability to use a full size iPad, an iPad air, or any size iPad that we have. There are a number of excellent voice-recognition teleprompter apps out there that pairs nicely with this set up and we love to fact that this one includes a Bluetooth remote so our on-air talent doesn't have to leave their mark if they want to rewind or skip or go faster or slower. The camera screws in nicely and allows you to choose different cameras to use it with too. We loved it so much we bought a second one to travel on the road with us. I definitely recommend this product to anybody looking for an easy, portable teleprompter for on the road or for in-studio. Two thumbs up!!!
Pretty Solid
Nicely built and pretty much all in one piece (except glass). Used this for the first time today and it performed quite well. Only draw back is the mounting screw for the camera. Would be nice if it could be a quick-release.
Telmax Teleprompter
I received my teleprompter and it was constructed out of good material. The system works as advertised. The only issue is that the mirror hood does not adjust, so the camera has to be above your head to read effectively. Other than that, it works very will. Don't forget, it does not come with software.
