Tegeler Audio Vocal Leveler 500 Overview
The Vocal Leveler 500 Series Opto-Compressor from Tegeler Audio uses a specialized input transformer, opto compressor, and FET tube simulation to create a tool that is fantastic for refinement of vocal audio recordings among many other sound applications.
Signals such as bass, acoustic guitars, and more, take very well to its soft inconspicuous compression. The Vocal Leveler always stays transparent and subtle, even when hotter signals are introduced. Thus, it can serve as optimal protection against overloading signal peaks during recording without destroying the microdynamics or character of your audio signal. The unit borrows the Opto-Compressor circuitry from Tegeler's Vari Tube Recording Channel and imports it into compact 500 module format, great for pro recording in studio rooms of all sizes.
