Tegeler Audio GTSM40 Overview
The 40-Channel Analog Tube Summing Mixer from Tegeler Audio gives producers and mixing and mastering engineers the benefits of analog mixing with the conveniences of a digital workflow.
The analog signal path, tubes, and matching transformers are responsible for processing the signals, with the result being an incredible analog sound?open and defined yet warm. With Mono or Stereo TRS and DB25 inputs and balanced XLR outputs, the signal routing versatility exists to glue together the most demanding mixes. If 40 inputs aren't enough, several Tube Summing Mixers can be cascaded together to increase the input count. The Tube Summing Mixer is equipped with a stepped output switch instead of a potentiometer, allowing a practical reduction in -3 dB increments. If you wish to insert mono signals into the mix, use the lower TRS jacks. Each mono signal is automatically distributed to both channels simultaneously, making it appear in the phantom center of the mix.
