Audiophiles, DJs, and turntablists in search of a professional, well-built and great sounding turtable will rejoice over the black Technics SL-1200MK7 Direct Drive Turntable System. In this seventh rendition, the SL1200 offers significant enhancements to the analog and digital technology, including coreless direct-drive motor and precision digital motor control, which eliminate cogging from rotation irregularities. The latest microcomputer technology is utilized for advanced motor control, which ensures high performance in normal rotation and responds accurately to a wide range of DJ play styles such as scratching. Additionally, the starting torque and brake speed can be adjusted individually to suit the user's preference. What's more, by pressing the Speed Selector button and the Start/Stop simultaneously, the platter will reverse direction, adding a whole new level of performance possibilities.
The aluminum die-cast platter features a two-layer structure with deadening rubber on the entire back surface to eliminate unwanted resonance, providing high rigidity and outstanding vibration-damping characteristics, and preventing harmful vibration from being transmitted to the record. The aluminum die-cast chassis is rigidly integrated with a special material consisting of ABS mixed with glass fiber to achieve a two-layer construction. The combination of this rigid material and a metal chassis raised the rigidity and vibration-damping performance, realizing a robust cabinet for remarkable sound reproduction.
The S-shaped tonearm employs a lightweight yet rigid aluminum pipe, while the gimbal suspension system utilizes high-precision bearings to assure solid tracking performance with minimum stylus jumping, even in harsh playing conditions such as scratching. The tonearm ships with a counter weight for use with a variety of cartridges to match music genre or feeling.
The turntable features gold-plated RCA terminals for use with detachable cables, as well as a detachable earth-ground wire, and a detachable power cord. The Technics SL-1200MK7 ships with a rubber slipmat, dust cover, 45 adapter, balance weight, headshell, cartridge mounting hardware, stereo RCA cable, earth ground cable, and an AC power cord.

A worthy turntable upgrade in the long line of Technics1200s
While different in build from earlier models, the MK7 is a worthy addition to the line, with all of the sound and torque the Technics brand is known for. If you're on the fence, as a DJ and producer for more than 30 years, this turntable does the job well. Do not fret. They are legit.

Thank you so much bnh for making my dreams come true again I had originally brought my first mi7's from guitar Center and sent them in to be serviced they told me that my turn tables was beyond repair which was strange to me being that I only had the for 3 months which leads me to believe they sold me some refurbish turn tables smh so after receiving my payment back I search everywhere looking all over and found you guys you didn't have it in stock so I got on the notify list with you guys and the rest was history I put them together after receiving them and lord behold they felt so much better I knew I got it right this time thank you guys so much for everything I know where to turn to first for anything electronic once again thank you so much

I read the reviews and waited months for this to come available. Believe me, it was worth the wait. The quality of sound that comes from this turntable is amazing. I've missed my turntable for so long and now, this fills the void and then some! The mechanics are awesome. The sound exquisite. Looks, superb. A beautiful piece of equipment, with a beautiful sound. You will not be disappointed.
I was wrong ...
I thought the MK7's were nothing but trash but after a played a set at my friend's house I fell in love with them , the pitch control its amazing and all the futures that comes with it are fantastic I end up buying myself 2 MK7's in Black and also waiting on the Silver version to be available to buy me another 2 that's how much I love these turntables . I alsohave 2 MK2's and 2 M3D's also Technics, will also add 4 more to my collection 2 Black GR's and hopefully 2 GR's in Silver .

Saving for the future, however platters roll on. Power works perfectly...cables and gold RCA's are stupendous.... B and H delivered and delivered BIG to the Lone Star State...shipping and packaging of RAW items...were impeccable.... I would as will always recommend B and H... All in all, smooth and quick...
