Enjoy high-quality vinyl playback and simple setup with the white TN-3B-SE Two-Speed Manual Turntable from Teac. The TN-3B-SE features an S-shaped tonearm designed in collaboration with high-end tonearm manufacturer SAEC. The replaceable headshell comes with an Audio Technica AT-VM95E preinstalled and can be set up out of the box and playing music within minutes. For more advanced playback, the interchangeable headshell, adjustable counterweight, and antiskate mechanism allow this turntable to be set up to accommodate a wide variety of headshell, cartridge, and stylus combinations. With a built-in, switchable, high-quality MM phono EQ amplifier, the TN-3B-SE can be connected to phono or line-level inputs, making it compatible with most wired sound systems.

Tonearm from SAEC

The TN-3B-SE's tonearm from SAEC employs a knife-edge pivot-point bearing. Unlike the case for tonearms with conventional bearings, any fine vertical movements that take place in this tonearm actually help in delivering a more dynamic sound with excellent resolution. The S-shaped tonearm also employs a universal headshell fitting, allowing users to quickly and easily swap cartridges/headshells, and the tonearm supports a wide range of cartridge weights (14 to 23g / 0.5 to 0.8 oz.). Additionally, the static-balanced S-shaped tonearm is equipped with a counterweight for precise stylus pressure adjustment and an antiskate mechanism for accurate tracking force adjustment, allowing the cartridge to accurately play any quality vinyl disc.

Audio Technica VM-Series Cartridge

An audio-technica AT-VM95E cartridge with an elliptical-shaped stylus tip comes preinstalled on the headshell for convenience. Simply open the box, set up the platter, mount the headshell on the tonearm, and start enjoying your records.

Built-In MM Phono Stage EQ

The TN-3B-SE incorporates an MM-type phono EQ amplifier, allowing you to connect the turntable to an audio system that lacks a phono input. A low-distortion hi-fi grade op-amp, the NJM8080, is employed to boost low-level signals from the phono cartridge to line level.

Reduced Vibration

The insulating feet comprise a machined-aluminium shell, topped with a rubber cushion that is fixed to the high-density MDF plinth. Thanks to excellent shock absorption characteristics of these feet, the TN-3B-SE is very resistant to acoustic feedback. Additionally, in order to achieve sleek cabinet design without compromising rigidity, the bottom panel is imprinted with a honeycomb pattern that further minimizes unwanted vibrations.
