PLCIOKIT is a Remote I/O Platform (RIOP) which accelerates industrial automation by delivering flexible, high-precision data acquisition and secure, multi-protocol connectivity for factory and process control systems. Designed to simplify integration into Industry 4.0 environments, RIOP supports predictive maintenance and helps optimize reliability and operational efficiency. As a reference platform, it enables Ethernet-connected remote I/O for both analogue and digital signals, while supporting leading industrial protocols such as EtherCAT and CAN alongside robust sensor front-ends. This solution is ideal for quick prototyping, lab setups, factory automation and applications requiring functional safety and instrumentation.
- High-precision analogue input: 8x universal, software-configurable HV analogue inputs
- Precision analogue I/P:±12.5V single-ended/±25V differential range, overvoltage protection to ±36V
- Multi-protocol support: EtherCAT®, Time Sensitive Networking (TSN), CAN FD, RS485
- 1Gbit/s Ethernet endpoint and 2x 100 Mb Ethernet switch industrial connectivity
- Modular and expandable: Arduino and FRDM board compatibility, ready to use libraries
- Built-in self-test and calibration
- Diagnostics for enhanced anomaly detection, reliability and safety
- 7.5kV HBM ESD, IEC61000-4-5 2 kV surge protection
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C
- EdgeLock Secure Enclave to support IEC 62443, Eu CRA and NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF)
