ANALOG DEVICES MAX292EWE+ Switched Capacitor Filter, Bessel, Lowpass, 8th, 1, 4.75 V, 11 V, WSOIC

The MAX292EWE+ is an 8th order low pass switched capacitor bessel filter in 16 pin WSOIC package. It provides low overshoot and fast settling. This filter has fixed responses so the design task is limited to selecting clock frequency that controls filter’s corner frequency. An external capacitor is used to generate clock using internal oscillator or an external clock signal can be used. An uncommitted operational amplifier (non inverting input grounded) is provided for building a continuous time low pass filter for post filtering or anti aliasing. The MAX292 delivers very aggressive performance from a tiny area requiring a minimum of external components. This device is used in ADC anti aliasing filtering, noise analysis, DAC post filtering and 50Hz/60Hz line noise filtering.
