In addition to four 2.5/3.5" SATA III drive bays, this enclosure has three M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe 3.0 x1 SSD slots that may be configured for cache or storage. The dual 5Gb Ethernet ports support SMB multichannel technology, which allows you to combine their throughput to 10GbE.
