This NOMAD Basic Plus Kit from Move Shoot Move has everything you need to mount your camera for beautiful, long-exposure photography of deep-sky nebulae, star clusters, and more. The NOMAD star tracker, used with the equatorial wedge, will cancel the perceived "movement" of the stars, rendering your targets pinpoint-sharp with no streaking. The laser pointer makes short work of polar alignment, a critical step.
Compact, lightweight, and simple to operate, the NOMAD Star Tracker from Move Shoot Move allows cameras and smart telescopes to capture deep-sky images by countering the earth's rotation. The Nomad mounts on your tripod and is equipped with a mounting screw for a ball head holding your camera. Once properly aligned, the NOMAD will rotate your camera to match the rotation of the earth, capturing sharp images of stars, galaxies, constellations, and more.
This Adjustable Laser is used for quick polar alignment on the Move Shoot Move NOMAD star tracker. It installs on the NOMAD by means of the included adapter. The laser can also be used with select Sky-Watcher and iOptron trackers, but requires separately sold adapters. This laser is used only for alignment with Polaris in the northern hemisphere.
The Wedge from Move Shoot Move allows tracking mounts to operate equatorially for long-exposure astrophotography, tilting and aligning the telescope's azimuth so it can track an arc around the polar axis. The Wedge supports cameras or small telescopes up to 11 pounds, with an Arca-style plate on top for the rig and a 3/8"-16 tripod mounting hole in the bottom. Manual knobs control 0-60° tilting and permit fine adjustments to the 360° panning base.
