This B&H Kit combines the Asustor AS5404T 4-Bay NAS Enclosure with four WD 8TB Red Plus 5640 rpm SATA III 3.5" Internal NAS HDDs for a storage capacity of 32TB.
Organize and store your data with the AS5404T 4-Bay NAS Enclosure from Asustor. Featuring four bays for 2.5 or 3.5" drives and four M.2 2280 NVMe slots, the AS5404T supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, JBOD, and Single, with read and write speeds of up to 576 MB/s. Hot-swappable drive bays make it easy to replace a defective drive with minimal downtime, while three 10 Gb/s USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports allow you to expand the existing storage or transfer data to external drives. A pair of 2.5 GbE ports offer increased speeds over standard Gigabit Ethernet ports and can provide even more speed by combining the two 2.5 GbE ports to a single channel exceeding 2.5 Gb/s. The AS5404T is also equipped with an HDMI 2.0b port, allowing you to view 4K video from your NAS via Plex or another third-party video player. Ensure smooth operation with a 2.0 GHz Intel Celeron Quad-Core CPU and 4GB of 2933 MHz DDR4 memory, which can be upgraded to 16GB.
The 8TB Red Plus 5640 rpm SATA III 3.5" Internal NAS HDD from WD is built to handle the workloads of RAID-optimized NAS systems with up to 8 drive bays, including home offices and power users, small to medium businesses, and consumer and commercial NAS systems. This 8TB drive operates using a SATA III 6 Gb/s interface, a 256MB cache, and a rotational speed of 5640 rpm, which all help to ensure uninterrupted data transfers with a rate of up to 215 MB/s. This drive also features high levels of reliability, with 600,000 load/unload cycles, < 1 in 1014 non-recoverable read errors per bits read, a workload rate of 180TB per year, dual-plane balance control technology, and a 1 million hours MTBF. WD's NASware helps increase system compatibility, allowing Red Pro drives to be more easily integrated with your existing network infrastructure, while noise and vibration protection is provided by Rotation Vibration (RV) sensors.
