The QAPL30-TX-M enables attaching your plug-on transmitter (not included) parallel to the tube when using an internally wired QuickPole with a coiled cable and lateral cable outlet. Mounting your transmitter on the bottom pole parallel instead of directly to your mic helps balance your pole, making it easier to "swing" your boom for long periods of time, and it also reduces strain on your mic's shockmount. The 3-pin XLR connector supports a mono signal on a single connector and is for transmitters that have a 3-pin female XLR.
