Mount up to two tom drums with the STAR Double Tom Stand from TAMA, an advanced dual-tom stand that sports an innovative swivel-wing tom holder with an omni-ball system and 1.12" base section tubing. This stand uses a stilt system for mounting the drums and a patented Glide-Tite grip joint that uses a metal-on-metal contact point for an extremely secure attachment and isolation of the drums, enhancing natural resonance.
The stand features an inner insulation mute for further isolating your drum vibrations from the stand tubing. Extraheavy-duty double-braced legs ensure a solid placement on the floor, resisting sliding, or accidental tilting.
Swivel-Wing Tom Holder
This tom holder features TAMA's omni-ball system allowing for unparalleled angle adjustment of the toms. In addition, each ball can move around an arc backward and forward by 3.93", providing even greater positioning flexibility.
True-Sound Insulation Mute
It's widely known that the vibrations of a cymbal or tom will transfer to the stand, causing the natural sound to be partially absorbed by the pipe. To maximize isolation and bring out the true sound of cymbals and toms, an inner pipe mute is equipped on the top pipe of all STAR series stands.
Glide-Tite Grip Joint
TAMA's new Glide-Tite Grip Joint allows for a more secure attachment by using a metal-to-metal contact point. This provides an extremely solid anchor and complete isolation for a tom or cymbal. Because the stand does not move with the instrument, the natural resonance of that instrument is maximized.
