Description
Starfield SF-SOL-WEDGE-2 Overview
The 2-inch Herschel Wedge for Solar Observation from Starfield allows for safe observation or photography of the sun. Used in place of your refractor telescope's diagonal or prism, the wedge employs a prism that deflects a small, safe amount of light to the eye while dispersing the rest. A 10-stop ND3 filter and an adjustable circular polarizing filter allows for safe and comfortable observation. The wedge has a 2" twist-lock ring for quickly attaching and detaching a camera or other accessory.
The Herschel Wedge is for use only with non-Petzval refractor telescopes with apertures of 4" or larger. It is not to be used Petzval refractors, reflector telescopes, or refractors with apertures smaller than 4" / 102mm.
