SparkFun sm�´l Header

Our RedBoards are great. But don't they sometimes seem a little BIG?!

Enter sm�´l, a new range of boards which are both small in size and small on current draw. It's a sm�´l world!

sm�´l boards are designed to stack one on top of the other, using 16-way 0.5mm-pitch Flexible Printed Circuits (FPCs). We really like FPCs and we're using them on more and more of our products. But they can be a bit tricky when it comes to prototyping or if you want to connect other devices to your sm�´l stack. The sm�´l Header is here to help!

The sm�´l Header breaks out all 16 sm�´l connections in good old 0.1" format. The hole pattern is the same as an old school 16-pin 0.3" Dual-In line Package (DIP). Perfect for soldering header pins to and then pushing into standard breadboard.

You've got full access to all the sm�´l pins, so connecting your favorite SPI board to sm�´l is as easy as plug-and-play! We've included a Qwiic connector too, so you can attach your favorite Qwiic boards to your sm�´l stack qwiicly and easily.

sm�´l is an ecosystem of miniature processor boards, peripheral boards, power boards and accessories. Designed to be both physically small and to have the smallest possible current draw, sm�´l is the perfect choice for applications like wildlife tracking or discrete long-term monitoring. sm�´l boards are designed to stack one on top of the other, using 16-way 0.5mm-pitch Flexible Printed Circuits (FPCs) to provide the interconnect from one board to the next.
