The SS-CSEM2 Full-Range Dolby Atmos Enabled Height-Channel Speakers from Sony are a passive pair of speakers designed to reflect sound off the ceiling for immersive, three-dimensional audio applications. The speakers include a rigid 3.94" woofer in a sealed wooden cabinet engineered to be easily placed on top of your CS series floor-standing or bookshelf speakers.
Full-Range Height Speaker
Each speaker includes a 3.94" upfiring woofer for full-range height-channel sounds. Utilizing a reinforced cellular cone diaphragm, it delivers a 70 Hz to 32 kHz frequency response.
Reinforced Cellular Cone
Many speakers use paper cones that flex and deteriorate over time, leading to a more distorted sound. Reinforced cellular cone woofers are rigid, holding their shape even when moving at high pressure and speed, so you can drive the bass harder without compromising audio quality.
