SONARWORKS SoundID Reference for Speakers is a calibration plug-in and app delivering consistently accurate studio reference sound on your existing speakers. It effectively eliminates your speakers' sound coloration by setting their frequency response to be completely flat across all audible frequencies, ensuring that every mix translates regardless of the speakers or headphone your audience uses for monitoring. Whether in the comfort of your studio or on the road, you can mix with confidence and make music that sounds great everywhere.
After installing the software you can proceed with your speaker calibration. It takes just 15 minutes to complete the measurement process using a flat-frequency-response microphone such as the SONARWORKS Calibration Measurement Mic (available separately) or any similar mic.
When measurement is completed, save your speaker profile and apply correction using the plug-in in your favorite DAW or use the SoundID Reference system-wide app to correct sound from any source on your computer.

The microphone features a small-diaphragm, electret condenser capsule with an omnidirectional polar pattern, and each mic is individually calibrated, ensuring a flat frequency response with optimal precision. It is supplied with a 0° on-axis calibration file for use in third-party applications, a 30° off-axis calibration file for use in SONARWORKS SoundID Reference software, and a 21-day trial version of SoundID Reference.
