SmallRig 3480 Overview
The L-Shape Grip from SmallRig provides secure support and a comfortable grip for your Nikon Zfc camera. The grip allows you to quickly connect to an Arca-type compatible tripod or monopod head, and the side of the grip also features a 1/4"-20 connection for vertical shooting or attaching accessories. The bottom of the grip features a built-in cold shoe mount for attaching a microphone or light. This right-handed grip is comfortable to hold and helps you avoid fatigue when you are shooting for extended periods. The aluminum base maintains access to the battery door and allows flipping of the LCD screen with no obstruction.

Nice, very nice!
A simple yet effective product. Well made, doesn't add much, if any, bulk but helps the feel of the camera.
Greatly Improves Camera Handling
This is a beautifully designed piece of gear. The plate anodizing matches the Nikon Zfc perfectly. The fit is fantastic, and the grip allows secure one handed camera handling. RRS, ProMedia Gear and Kirk, my usual goto manufacturers of plates, have nothing like this at all, at least at the time I wrote this. My only concern was I like using QD swivels on all of my camera straps. But I reasoned all of the other advantages out weighed that shortcoming. Once I received it I realized I could fix that shortcoming too. The grip is held to the plate with two M4 socket head screws. Remove one screw and you can mount a Really Right Stuff Mk2 Tripod Apex QD Mount using a longer M4 screw (from your local hardware store) and problem solved. The QD receptacle does not interfere with use in an Arca Swiss clamp either. This makes handling my Zfc a joy.
Transformative Addition
Attaching this has made such a difference to the overall pleasure of holding and using this phenomenal camera, while simultaneously allowing for rapid attachment to both my Black Rapid strap and Kirk ball head. Both the grip-ability and the comfort are much appreciated. Well worth the price!

I am a big fan of this grip. It adds the dovetail for easy tripod mounting, as well as a dumb shoe for external accessories like flash remotes, mics, etc. The grip adds just enough to make the camera a bit easier to hold without interfering with operations or adding too much weight.
Essential Accessory for the Nikon Z fc
I love this grip! I makes my Nikon Z fc feel more like my film camera and gives me a more secure hold of my camera. I also like the Arca-style mount plate, which slips easily into my Manfrotto Element MIII travel tripod. Nikon is missing a trick not offering something like this themselves.
