You can extend the legs by disengaging them and raising the rapid center column, so the tripod can reach a maximum height of 62.1". For the tripod to drop to a minimum height of 8.7", you can splay legs out and split the column in half, so the column doesn't hit the ground when the tripod is at its lowest height. The 3.8 lb support has a load capacity of 13.2 lb, and its rubber feet prevent the tripod from sliding on smooth surfaces and provide a secure hold on uneven terrain. The tripod folds to a length of 23" to easily store in its included case for travel.
