SKB R-Series 2621-10 Wheeled Waterproof Utility Case (Empty)

Made of injection-molded ultra-high-strength polyethylene, this SKB Cases R-Series 2621-10 Wheeled Waterproof Utility Case is made to withstand the most extreme and demanding shipping, handling, and working conditions on the planet. The case is offered here with an empty interior to allow for full use and customization of the interior space. To accommodate a wide assortment of gear, this case has an interior that measures 26.4 x 21.4 x 10". Two low-profile hinged handles allow you to carry the case by hand, or if it's too heavy you can extend the pull handle and tow the case behind you on its two skate-style wheels.

Design features include gasket sealing to an IP67-rating that makes the case dust and waterproof, a molded-in hinge for added protection, and six latches arrayed on three sides of the case that compress the gasket in the lid to seal it against water and dust. It is further resistant to a variety of hazards that you may encounter such as impacts, ultraviolet (UV) radiation, solvents, corrosion, and even fungi. A pressure relief valve comes into play especially during air transport by regulating the internal pressure, keeping your gear and the case from getting crushed and allowing you to open the case without having to break a tough pressurized seal that may develop.
