This S45-PTK6U Pass-Through Series Cat 6 UTP Starter Kit from Simply45 gives you everything you need to strengthen and enhance your unshielded Cat 6 cable connections. The kit includes two 100 packs of Cat 6 pass-through modular plugs and snagless strain reliefs, respectively. It also includes a pass-through RJ45 crimp tool, 5" flush cutter tool, and LAN cable stripper.
Simply45 Cat 6 UTP Unshielded RJ45 Pass-Through Modular Plug (100-Piece Jar)
Designed to work with unshielded twisted pair (UTP) LAN cables, the Simply45 Cat 6 UTP Unshielded RJ45 Pass-Through Modular Plug connects onto 24 AWG solid and 28-26 AWG stranded LAN cables up to 0.27" in diameter. One-hundred single piece pass-through modular RJ45 plugs come packed inside of a convenient plastic jar, which work with most Cat 6 cables in a straight-line arrangement. Each plug features a 3-prong pin design with 50? 24kt gold plating to help deliver high electrical conductivity and a stronger connection to wire conductors and has a light green tint for easy identification. These modular plugs are rated to work with PoE and PoH devices.
Simply45's 3-prong pins feature 50? of 24kt gold plating. Having a 3-prong pin provides three points of contact with the copper wire conductor, which provides a strong connection for high electrical performance and improved signal integrity with less heat build-up compared to a 2-prong connection.
Simply45 Pass-Through RJ45 Crimp Tool
The Pass-Through RJ45 Crimp Tool from Simply45 is designed for unshielded and internal ground shielded pass-through RJ45 modular plugs. With feedback from professional installers, this heavy-duty crimp tool was designed with superior features all around. These include ratcheting, synchronized handles, reinforced steel on top, stable crimping socket, fixed blade position alignment, a diamond-polished hardened steel trimming blade, laser-engraved wire alignment patterns right under the crimping socket, an efficient single-screw blade replacement system, and integrated narrow strain reliefs/boots. It also has a built-in wire cutter and wire stripper.
Ratcheted for Full Compression Cycle
Simply45 has designed this Pass-Through RJ45 Crimp Tool ratcheted in order to ensure that the RJ45 pins are properly seated onto the wire conductors and the pass-through wires are properly trimmed.
Synchronized handles compress together during the crimping cycle. This synchronization delivers consistent and even force directly to the plug socket and the wire trimming. The result is a smoother, faster, and easier crimping process. The handles open up to 4.25", allowing for more force with less hand effort during the crimping cycle. This tool uses both handles in tandem to deliver the crimping force with much less effort, and this enables you to crimp Cat 6 or Cat 6a cables with one hand. Being able to do so is especially useful when you have many terminations to complete in a day.
The Pass-Through RJ45 Crimp Tool is wrapped with reinforced steel to ensure tool stability during the crimping cycle. Crimp tool stability results in a smoother crimping cycle, better pin sets, more consistent wire trimming, and greater durability over time.
Improved Trimming Blade Design
The Pass-Through RJ45 Crimp Tool is engineered to deliver consistent flush-to-the-plug wire trimming over time. Engineering features include synchronized crimp tool handles that allow even force to be delivered to the trimming blades, a more stable crimping socket, a fixed blade position alignment requiring no adjustments, a more precise angle with no flexing on the trimming blade, and a diamond-polished hardened steel trimming blade.
Wire alignment patterns type A/B are laser engraved right under the crimping socket. Simply45 also lists the pattern to match how the RJ45 modular plug is inserted into the tool. This makes it easy to provide one last check to be sure the wires are properly aligned inside the plug before crimping. As a result, you eliminate the possibility of putting the wire alignment upside down into the plug.
Dull and worn out trimming blades are among the primary causes for improper wire trimming on pass-through RJ45 modular plugs. With the Pass-Through RJ45 Crimp Tool, about 30 seconds is all you need to change the trimming blade. No adjustments are needed. All that's required is handling a single screw. In contrast, many other crimp tools have a complex process of changing blades.
Using strain reliefs (boots) is very important to protect the RJ45 modular plug termination. The Pass-Through RJ45 Crimp Tool features integrated strain reliefs/boots that are crimped to the RJ45 modular plug during the crimping cycle. The integrated strain reliefs are narrow. Their width is the same as the RJ45 modular plug, making them ideal for multi-port patch panels because they allow you to easily insert and remove plugs from jacks. The process is fast and secure.
This tool also offers a built-in wire cutter and wire stripper.
The Crimp Tool works with Platinum Tools EZ-RJ45 connectors. This compatibility allows existing owners of these connectors to take advantage of the Crimp Tool right away and still be able to use the stock of EZ connectors.
An ergonomic grip reduces hand fatigue and slippage.
Simply45 5" Premium Flush Cutter Tool
Simply45 has designed the 5" Premium Flush Cutter Tool of premium quality for durability in professional applications. It's made for trimming LAN cable wire conductors, precision trimming of load bars and jacks, and other installer uses. It's capable of shearing soft copper wire up to 18 AWG (1mm). It can also be used for electronics products, jewelry, and various other purposes.
The design features a heat-treated high-carbon steel blade, an angled jar for precision flush cuts, and cushioned handles with a non-slip grip that's effective even in humid weather conditions.
Simply45 Adjustable LAN Cable Stripper for Shielded & Unshielded Cat7a/6a/6/5e (Yellow)
The Simply45 Adjustable LAN Cable Stripper, in yellow, allows you to professionally strip shielded (STP) and unshielded (UTP) copper LAN cables, including Cat7a, Cat7, Cat6a, Cat6, Cat5e, and Cat3 cables. This cable stripper is a multi-function tool that also lets you strip speaker and audio cables, straighten LAN cable wire conductors, and more. For precision performance, a turning knob is adjustable to raise or lower the trimming blade for ideal depth.
Note:
This cable stripper is not for coax cables.
Turning Knob for Precision Stripping Depth
The stripping depth is easily adjustable at the turn of a knob. Clockwise rotation lowers the trimming blade to the cable jacket, and counterclockwise rotation raises the blade. The knob is designed to be a little stiff so that the tool holds its position in the same place to let you complete multiple cable strips without having to readjust each time.
Works with Most LAN Cable Jacket Types
The adjustable LAN Cable Stripper will professionally strip most jacket types from CMP Plenum, CMR, CM, PVC, LSZH, PE, PUR, and Direct Burial. (It is not for coax cables.)
Professionally Strip Speaker Cables
The Adjustable LAN Cable Stripper is also capable of stripping speaker and audio cables with the jacket types listed above.
Built-In Wire Straightener Comb
A built-in wire straightener comb allows you to straighten LAN cable wire conductors. This feature works efficiently and effectively.
The stripper includes a built-in LAN cable cutter, which can also be used to cut copper speaker and audio cables. (Do not use it to cut steel core cables or coax cables.)

Simply45 Cat 6/6a Integrated Snagless Strain Reliefs (100-Pack)
Protect your Simply45 RJ45 UTP modular plug with Cat 6/6a Integrated Snagless Strain Reliefs. This pack includes 100 snagless strain reliefs, which are designed to work with Simply45 Cat 6/6a and Cat 5e shielded with internal ground RJ45 modular plugs. They help prolong the life of a plug by reducing the strain on it, which could otherwise loosen contact pins and negatively impact performance. It permanently attaches to a plug during the crimping cycle and features a narrow design to fit into tight installations.
This strain relief can be permanently attached to a Simply45 Cat 6/6a modular plug during the crimping cycle. Instead of sliding over the RJ45 terminal, it locks onto the plug to maintain a narrow profile, which allows for easier access in tight installations. Additionally, the snagless design helps to prevent latch tabs from breaking.
These snagless strain reliefs are designed to work with only Simply45 S45-1550, S45-1600/1601, S45-1700/1700P, and S45-1100 modular plugs.
