This S45-1705P ProSeries Cat6/6a UTP Unshielded Pass-Through RJ45 Modular Plug with Cap45 from Simply45 is a jar of 500 RJ45 connectors. Each connector is a single-piece unshielded pass-through RJ45 modular plug for use with most unshielded Cat6/6a LAN cables, and the CAP45 designation indicates that the connector has reduced risk of electrical shorts and improved RJ45 performance. A 3-prong pin provides 3 points of contact with the copper wire conductor instead of 2. This improves electrical performance and signals integrity. 24kt gold-plated contacts ensure good, corrosion-resistant connections.
