Simmod Aria Black Mist Overview
The 4 x 5.65" grade 1/8 Aria Mist Black Diffusion Filter from Simmod is designed to lower contrast, suppress and diffuse highlights, and lift shadows. This balances the overall tonal range of an image while also softening blemishes and wrinkles without loss of detail. This effect works most efficiently on modern and high-contrast vintage photo lenses when capturing light that diffuses softly when backlit. Constructed with a brass frame and two layers of Schott glass, each layer is nano-coated to provide anti-reflective properties and repel water and oil.
