The 77mm Aria Mist Black Filter Kit from Simmod comes in a three-pack of 1/8, 1/4, and 1/2 strengths. Designed to lower contrast, these filters bloom and diffuse highlights while lifting shadows, balancing the overall tonal range of an image and softening blemishes and wrinkles with minimal loss of detail. This effect works most efficiently on modern lenses or high-contrast vintage photo lenses, capturing light that diffuses softly when backlit. Constructed with a brass frame and two layers of Schott glass, each layer is nano-coated to provide anti-reflective properties and repels water and oil.
