ShieldRock 12G-SDI Optical Extender Overview
Convert and extend your 12G-SDI video signal over single- or multi-mode fiber cable using the 12G-SDI to Optical Fiber Dual Transmitter with SFP+ from ShieldRock. This openGear-style, dual-slot card features dual 12G-SDI full-size BNC inputs, and one LC optical fiber SFP+ output that is compatible with openGear OG-X frames. The card can transmit up to 6.2 miles.
A rear module is included, allowing single- or double-slot usage. Features include reclocking, hot swapping, and Input/SFP/Fault LEDs. This card can be monitored using the openGear DashBoard software on a macOS, Windows, or Linux computer.
