The Senal MC24-EL Complete Shotgun Microphone & HDSLR Kit from B&H can be used to capture audio for speech and dialog applications using a HDSLR, a camcorder, or an audio recorder for video productions, ENG, broadcast TV, and more. It includes a Senal professional hypercardioid shotgun microphone, an Auray DSUM-1 universal shockmount for camera shoes and boompoles, an Auray WSS-2018 professional windshield for shotgun mics, a Kopul LMT100 low to high impedance matching transformer, and an Auray ABP-59B telescoping boompole with integrated XLR cable.

The microphone can be powered by 48V phantom or a single AA battery. It features a high-grade condenser transducer that delivers full detailed and accurate sound. The frequency response is 40 Hz to 20 kHz and it provides accurate sound reproduction. There is a selectable high-pass filter at 180 Hz that minimizes unwanted noise and rumble.

Furthermore, the Auray universal shockmount features a four-point suspension and will accommodate shotguns that measure 0.74 to 0.98" in diameter. It can be easily angled with the rubberized adjustment knob and has a built-in shoe for camera mounting, and a 3/8"-16 thread connection to mount boompoles and universal handgrips.

In addition, the Kopul LMT100 cable enables a microphone or mic-level device to be input into a high-impedance 1/8" mini input that is found on DSLRs, camcorders, and other devices. It is designed for use with mono microphones. Finally, the other accessories include an Auray neoprene boompole bag, an Auray universal microphone pistol grip, two premium XLR M to XLR F microphone cables, a foam windscreen, a mic clip, a 5/8 to 3/8" adapter, and a leatherette carrying pouch.

  The microphone is covered with a matte-black rubberized coating that reduces handling noise and ensures trouble-free recordings when being operated. The finish also rejects unwanted light reflections. It is built with a gold-plated XLR connector and comes in a leatherette pouch.

• Auray Universal Microphone Pistol Grip

  The Auray Universal Microphone Pistol Grip is a handheld grip that features an ergonomic cushioned handle. This grip is great in "run & gun" situations in which a boom pole would be cumbersome, and in video scenarios in which the cameraman is also responsible for audio recording. The grip can be held with one hand, as opposed to a boom pole which requires two. It also provides the option of being able to record audio from a different direction than the camera is pointing, an advantage over camera mounting the mic. Furthermore, having the mic mounted off the camera prevents it from picking up motor noise from the lens focusing.
