In addition, two switches provide EQ adjustments, allowing you to get just the right tonality for your voice and leave the setting for consistent, no-fuss results every time.
Also helping you get clear, intelligible speech is a three-layer pop filter system that eliminates the need for a large and unsightly external pop filter, providing a clean, neat appearance that looks great for on-camera applications. Similarly, the DynaCaster's built-in shockmount eliminates the need for bulky external shockmounts while effectively isolating the capsule from vibrations for cleaner recordings. Exquisite piece of engineering
I needed a studio mic with a built-in pre-amp. The sE DynaCaster exceeded all my expectations. Love the wide frequency range it captures and the acoustic trim switches are a terrific added bonus - a quick and easy way to shape the sound of the vocal (bass, sibilance, etc.). Its cardioid polar pattern is so effective I no longer have to filter out in Post the background hum of the equipment in my studio. And the pre-amp, naturally, gives me the added boost in gain I've been looking for. (Just make sure that you connect to your audio board with a cable that has XLR connections on both ends to power the mic's pre-amp.) 's summary and reviews have once again proven trustworthy. Very satisfied.
